Fieldstaff Antiques offers a range of decorative china dating from early 1800’s through to contemporary items such as Moorcroft.
An example of the items we offer is a recent listing of these Wedgwood Blue and White “Ferrara” Pattern pieces, a fruit bowl and dinner plate.
Ferrara is a port in northern Italy and Wedgwood had the design engraved in 1832 and produced it in various forms until the 1960’s. The sailing ships were copied from an engraving of Liverpool Docks.
The impressed “Wedgwood Made in England” and printed “Ferrara, Wedgwood, Etruria England” would suggest that the pieces were produced around the 1920’s.
