You might have noticed that it was the summer Dickens Festival last weekend which was a pretty hectic time for us. Thousands of visitors flock to Rochester to experience the Dickensian atmosphere and join in the fun! We always open our doors as a hub for all our victorian dressed visitors, giving them a place to correct their jaunty sideburns or rest their top hats! The Sweeps Festival is Fieldstaff's favourite event of the year in Rochester. Thousands of visitors flock to the town to see the Morris dancing sides, spot the sweeps and listen to the live music. Weather permitting we have a stall outside. Beer drinking is a popular pastime during this festival and we always have a big selection of tankards.
